Mobile car detailing in Newcastle.
I travel up to Newcastle and the north Tyneside suburbs regularly — Gosforth, Jesmond, Ponteland, Darras Hall and Wideopen.
Newcastle is the furthest I travel regularly, and most of what takes me up there is correction and coating work rather than quick valets.
The suburbs north of the city — Gosforth, Jesmond, Ponteland, Darras Hall — have a high concentration of cars that are worth protecting properly, and owners who already understand the difference between a machine polish and a hand wax.
City driving is also hard on paint in a way that's easy to underestimate. Multi-storey parking, supermarket trolleys, tight residential streets and a decade of drive-through washes leave a car covered in fine swirl marks that only show up in direct sun. That's correction work, and it's the thing that makes the biggest visible difference to a car that's otherwise clean.

Mostly correction work
The swirls are the problem, not the dirt.
Nearly every car I correct in Newcastle has been through a commercial wash at some point, and almost all of the damage I take out was put there by a brush or a dirty mitt rather than by the road.
A single stage correction takes around 70% of that out. A two stage takes roughly 90% and leaves the paint genuinely sharp. Either one is permanent — the defects are removed from the lacquer, not filled in with something that washes out three weeks later, which is why I use Koch Chemie compounds with no silicones or oils in them. What you see when I hand the car back is what's actually there.

Is there a travel charge to Newcastle?
Newcastle is my longest regular run, so for shorter jobs there may be a small travel charge depending on the postcode. On full-day work — corrections and coatings — it isn't an issue. Tell me where you are when you get in touch and I'll confirm it up front rather than surprising you with it afterwards.
Do you work on supercars and prestige cars?
Yes, and a fair amount of what I do is exactly that. Soft German paint, ceramic brakes, carbon trim, PPF already fitted — all of it changes how I approach the car, and I'd rather you tell me what it is beforehand so I turn up with the right pads and compounds.
How long does a correction take?
A single stage correction with a coating is a full day on site, about eight hours. A two stage runs over two working days. I don't rush either — the time is the work.
Can you do more than one car in a visit?
Yes, and it's worth asking. If I'm travelling to Newcastle anyway, a second car on the same day usually works out better for both of us. Give me a ring and we'll price it properly.
