It started with a Golf convertible on the A19.
I'm Cory. I run Cory's Car Care on my own, and every car that gets booked in is one I turn up to myself.
I've always taken a real interest in cars. It started when I was a kid, going out in my dad's friend's old VW Golf convertible.
I remember the smell of the petrol, the loud and yet beautiful sounding exhaust, and the way my stomach dropped like a rollercoaster when he put his foot down on the A19. Since that point I've loved modified cars — everything from German engineering to the fun of a Japanese sports car.
That passion led me to get a car of my own that I loved, and I started caring for it properly. Detailing my own car turned into doing it for family and friends, then for people I worked with, and before I knew it I was loading all my gear into the car and travelling around the North East doing what I love for a living.
Three years on, that hasn't changed. There's no team and no unit — it's me, on your driveway, with the same standard every time.

The products I use
No cutting corners on chemistry.
A detail is only as good as what goes on the paint. I use Koch Chemie for all machine polishing — their compounds are silicone and oil free, which means nothing is hidden by fillers that wash out three weeks later. What you see when I hand the car back is what's actually there.
For protection I use CLEAN. by Pan ceramic coatings, and Bilt Hamber for decontamination. These aren't the cheapest products available. They're the ones that hold up through a North East winter.
